Kaye reflects the relationship of personal fault and Milieubestimmung. He follows essentially the basic ideas of the American social critical novel of 20s and thirties, like them also Richard Wright formulated Son into native: Force of Marginalisierten represents at least exactly a social task as much as fault of the particular. The novel is mentioned only once briefly, he might be interpretatorischer reference point of the film, however, and Sweeney appears particularly in the scenes in the police headquarters as well as on the ward of prison as a personification of Richard Wright.
Sentence of the film is from Derek the central statement or the central. When it retrieves its brother shot from the school toilet, it complains: "What have I done?" He doesn't give the black boy, his brother shot has the fault but himself since Daniel only became the right-wing extremist and finally the victim of the black because Derek's influence has caused this. It is his brother and his victim.
